Business Development Representative
Base Draw plus UNCAPPED Commission

Coastal Vape Co. is the leader in providing cutting edge vape technology and hardware to both US and International brands. We are well respected and loved in the industry due to our customer service centric approach and ability to make custom hardware for clients with short turnaround times.


The Business Development Representative role is tasked to generate and secure new businesses in a professional setting. This role will work with an emphasis on business-to-business opportunities and involved a lot of networking and sales pitching. Having the ability to cold call via phone, email, and walking into stores to talk to a decision maker is crucial in this role.


Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Demonstrated success in sales roles including pitching, follow ups, closing the loop, and account development.

  • Understands the culture of legalized cannabis and cbd markets.

  • Proven track record of landing new clients and businesses.

  • Results driven and being able to be self motivated.

  • Being able to deal with rejection from prospective clients both in person and over the phone or electronically.

  • Ability to be flexible with schedules as needed dependent on customer needs.

  • Team player personality that works well with coworkers as well as supporting team members.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new accounts by cold calling, emailing, walking various B2B conventions and visiting potential client’s offices.

  • “Get it done mentality!” such as working evenings, weekends, holidays depending on client needs

  • Ability to travel to various conventions throughout the US.

  • Work on building a funnel of prospective clients to call on.

  • Hit monthly and yearly sales goals as defined by the company.

  • Build rapport with clients and problem solve with clients to land their business

  • Be able to deal with adversity, complaints, and tense settings with difficult customers.

  • Going above and beyond and capable of wearing multiple hats as we’re a fast growing company.


Full-Time:

  • Full-Time Work from Home + Traveling When Needed
